Revolving dryer is short for dryer which can handle a large number of materials.As the operation reliability, operating flexibility, adaptability, large handling capacity so it is widely used in metallurgy, building materials, food, light industry, chemical industry, coal, medicine and mining industries.Gyration revolving dryer adapted to granular materials in general, but also can be used for the material with a certain viscosity paste or high moisture content by partly mix material.It takes the advantages of large productivity,wide application,low flow resistance,wide fluctuation allowance,easy operation,etc.It is commonly used in sand dryer,mineral powder,coal slurry,chicken manure,cow dung,etc.
.structure and principle
1.Structure:1.Rotary drum dryer consists of 1, cylinder; 2, pre-roll ring; 3. post-roll ring; 4, gear; 5, block roller; 6, drag roll; 7, the small gear; 8, discharging part;9, raise plate; 10, reducer; 11, motor; 12, hot air duct , 13, feed chute; 14, furnace body and other components. Gas producer, the combustor, or supporting hoister,belt conveyor, quantitative feeder, cyclone dust collector, induced draft fan and so on can also be designed according to user needs.
2.Wet material is sent to the hopper by the belt conveyor or bucket hoisting machine , and then it is delivering to the feed side through the feed pipeline by the action of hopper's feed machine.The slope of the feed pipeline should be greater than the natural angle of the material in order to make the material inflow to the dryer smoothly.Dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder which is has a slight angle to the horizon.Material is fed from the higher end and the heat carrier is fed from the lower end.Thus contact with the material in the counter-current way.But the heat carrier and the material can also be fed together to the barrel.Material is run to the other lower bottom by gravity when the cylinder is rotating .Wet material gain heat from the heat carrier directly or indirectly when it move forward.Then the wet material become dry material and sent our at the discharged end by belt or screw conveyor.There is a shovelling plate in the inwall of the cylinder.It is used to raise up and down in order to enlarge the connect surface between the material and airflow , improve the rate of the drying and push the material forward. .Heat-carrying agent is generally divided into hot air, flue gas and so on.After going through the dryer, the heat carrier normally need the cyclone dust separator to catch the material which is in the gas.For further reduction the dust content in the offgas,it also should go through the bag-patten dust catcher or hydrofilter before release.
