Theory
HF and vacuum condition:
As HF heats from inside, so the core of wood will dry first, and then gradually to the outside, then the vacuum pump extract the moisture out from inside thus make the surface of wood is always wet, for some hard wood if the surface is dried quickly, there will be spark on the surface and leave permanent defect on the wood, but HF vacuum condition will totally eliminate the problem
Temperature control:
There is temperature sensor which guard on the temperature, user can set different max and min temperature according to different wood, then if the temperature reaches the max limit, the heating stop, but if it falls to the min, the heating will start again
For some hard wood that very sensitive on the temperature, this is a big advantage

Working principle of the Rotary Dryer

Operation Principle of the sawdust drying machine:

The drive system adopts column gear reducer which performs firm and wear well. The driving shaft is stainless steel thickened solid type. The rake teeth is made of high strength stainless steel, which guarantees the stable operation under all kind of odious conditions. Inside the shell can be added two or four impact rods for the purpose of high speed drying and smashing. The heating medium can be steam, heat conducting oil and hot water.
Application range:
It is especially used to dry materials that are heat sensitive, oxidable, and easy to harden and also materials whose vented steam during drying need to be reclaimed. The material is of powder shape after drying, so it is suitable for drying materials whose finished products are powder shaped. The materials can be directly packed after drying, and they don't need to be smashed. The feeded material for rake type vacuum dryer can contain 90% water. The materials to be dried can be shaped like slurry, grease, grain, powder, or fiber. Only 1% or even 0.5% water can be left after drying.The vacuum dryer is now widely used in the production of solid alcohol,sodium(kalium).

Operation Principle of Rotary Dryer :
The raw material plate which is arranged reasonably with changeable angles in order, throws moisture materials into the rotary cylinder. Then water will be separated from the materials by hot air-flow and changed into vapour to be discharged into the atmosphere. Then the materials would be dried. Rotary dryer is used to dry slag, clay, limestone; It is mainly used for cement, chemical, metallurgical, building materials industries. Rotary dryer’s operating principle:
Dry and wet material from the belt conveyor or bucket elevator to the hopper,
then by feeding machine of hopper through charging pipe into the feed side. After the damp raw material is put into the drier from on end, it is turned over through strring-up rake inside the cylinder and distributed uniform in the drier and contacted with countercurrent hot air fully. It speeds up heat and mass conducting of dry. During the oeriod of dry, raw material is effcted by stirring-up rake with gradient and hot air, it can be moved and passed through the dry region and to star valve and then discharge the finished product.

Rotary Drier Structure
Rotary drieris handling by bringing it into direct contact with a heated gas. The dryer is made up of a large, rotating cylindrical tube,The dryer slopes slightly so that the discharge end is lower than the material feed end in order to convey the material through the dryer under .

Working principle of the Rotary Dryer
Material to be dried enters the drier, and as the dryer rotates, the material is lifted up by a series of internal fins lining the inner wall of the dryer. When the material gets high enough to roll back off the fins, it falls back down to the bottom of the dryer, passing through the hot gas stream as it falls. This gas stream can either be moving toward the discharge end from the feed end (known as co-current flow), or toward the feed end from the discharge end (known as counter-current flow). The gas stream can be made up of a mixture of air and combustion gases from a burner, in which case the dryer is called a direct heated dryer. Alternatively, the gas stream may consist of air or another (sometimes inert) gas that is preheated. When the gas stream is preheated by some means where burner combustion gases do not enter the dryer, the dryer known as an indirect-heated type. Often, indirect heated dryers are used when product contamination is a concern.
